One of Daniel's Christmas presents from me was a year of monthly destination date nights. Our first "destination" was Israel, Daniel's favorite destination. We ate falafel pitas, potato latkes, and chocolate rugelach. Oh my word, so good! I ate so much, I could hardly move afterwards.
The recipes were time consuming but fairly easy to make. We had such a fun time making the food together! Find the falafel here, latkes here, and rugelach here.
